Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic communications plans for county initiatives and crisis management
- Manage social media channels and digital content to increase public engagement
- Write/edit press releases, speeches, and official county communications
- Coordinate media relations and press conferences with local/national outlets
- Analyze audience metrics and optimize messaging across platforms
- Collaborate with department heads to align communications with policy goals

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field
- 3+ years government/public sector communications experience
- Expertise in crisis communication protocols and public engagement strategies
