Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure for state agencies.
- Oversee system security compliance, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations (FISMA, NIST).
- Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting support for complex network challenges.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party service delivery for government projects.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for citizen services.
- Document technical processes and maintain up-to-date system configurations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or public sector technology.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud computing (Azure/AWS), and database management (SQL).
- Experience with federal and state government procurement processes is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- U.S. Citizenship required for certain government security clearances.
