Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on federal and state regulations to ensure agency compliance.
- Prepare, review, and edit high-level policy briefs, memos, and official correspondence.
- Collaborate with local, state, and federal agencies to coordinate public service initiatives.
- Manage and maintain secure government databases and filing systems in accordance with security protocols.
- Represent the agency at public meetings and community forums to communicate government objectives.
- Oversee the procurement process for departmental supplies and services.
- Monitor legislative updates and advise management on potential impacts on current operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field.
- United States Citizenship is required for Federal positions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft complex legal and administrative documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and government-specific software.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
- Proven experience in public sector or non-profit management is highly preferred.
- Must pass a background investigation and drug screening.
