Role Overview:
As a Government Operations Analyst, you will oversee project management, data analysis, and policy implementation for state-level projects. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance and efficiency in government processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify inefficiencies in government workflows and recommend actionable solutions.
- Manage and coordinate cross-departmental projects to ensure timely delivery of state services.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for executive leadership regarding project status and policy impact.
- Ensure strict compliance with state and federal regulations, including FOIA requests and administrative laws.
- Facilitate communication between government agencies and the public to improve transparency and service delivery.
- Develop and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal guidelines.
- Monitor budget expenditures and assist in the allocation of resources for various state initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in government, public sector, or non-profit administration.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Knowledge of Indiana state government processes and legislative frameworks is highly preferred.
- Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) or similar credentials are a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
