Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of federal contracts, from pre-award preparation to post-award management and closeout.
- Ensure strict compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency-specific regulations.
- Prepare and review complex contracts, proposals, and modifications with a focus on risk mitigation.
- Maintain accurate contract databases and generate required reports for federal oversight bodies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and technical staff, to deliver project objectives.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure billing accuracy and contract performance adherence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal contract administration or government contracting.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or willingness to undergo a government background investigation.
- Strong knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFARS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in contract management software (e.g., SAP, Deltek CostPoint) is a plus.
