Responsibilities
- Manage and administer Windows Server and Linux environments within federal compliance frameworks (FISMA).
- Implement and maintain network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Provide Level 3 technical support for end-users and federal staff across multiple locations.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and patch management to ensure system integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is required.
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration within a federal or government contracting environment.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Server 2016/2019 and Active Directory.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) and virtualization (VMware).
- Knowledge of security standards such as NIST, DISA STIGs, and DoD instructions.
