Responsibilities
- Monitor and audit government contracts to ensure full compliance with UK regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Investigate discrepancies and non-compliance issues, preparing detailed reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement improved compliance strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in government legislation and legislative frameworks.
- Conduct training sessions for junior staff on compliance protocols and risk management.
- Manage high-priority caseloads with strict adherence to deadlines and legal requirements.
- Represent the department in external stakeholder meetings and regulatory hearings when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulatory, compliance, or public sector environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
- Full UK Security Clearance (SC or DV) is essential for this role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legislation and apply it to practical scenarios.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for drafting reports and presenting findings.
