Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain complex server environments, including Windows Server, Linux, and cloud-based infrastructure (Azure/AWS).
- Implement and enforce strict security protocols to protect sensitive government data and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Lead critical migration projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deploy new software and hardware solutions.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for internal staff and citizen-facing applications.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and capacity planning to optimize IT efficiency.
- Document all technical processes and maintain up-to-date system configurations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Systems Administration or Network Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server administration.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Azure Administrator, CCNA) are highly preferred.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms.
- PA State Residency is preferred for this position.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced government setting.
