Responsibilities
- System Administration: Manage and maintain state government servers, databases, and network infrastructure to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for internal staff and citizens accessing online services.
- Project Management: Lead or participate in state-wide digital transformation projects and system upgrades.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive citizen data and government assets.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and user manuals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various state departments to identify technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, systems analysis, or software development within a government or corporate environment.
- Licensure: Must possess or be willing to obtain the required State of Pennsylvania Public Safety Telecommunicator certification or relevant IT security clearance.
- Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, SQL, and cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Residency: Must be a resident of Pennsylvania or willing to relocate to the Philadelphia area.
