Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based policies across housing, transportation, and economic development sectors
- Analyze complex urban challenges using quantitative/qualitative research methods
- Coordinate with 20+ DC agencies to align policy objectives and resource allocation
- Prepare executive briefings and legislative recommendations for Mayor's Office
- Lead stakeholder engagement with community leaders, nonprofits, and federal partners
- Monitor policy implementation through KPI tracking and impact assessment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years experience in government policy development or consulting
- Expertise in quantitative analysis (SPSS, R, or Python) and policy modeling
- Deep knowledge of DC's legislative landscape and regulatory frameworks
- Proven ability to manage high-stakes projects with competing priorities
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
