Responsibilities
- Sort, process, and distribute mail/packages according to USPS protocols
- Operate mail processing machinery (scanners, sorters, conveyor systems)
- Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of mail items
- Ensure timely delivery of mail to designated routes/destinations
- Adhere to strict security and privacy regulations for sensitive materials
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and safety checks
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily processing targets
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with legal authorization to work in the US
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (if route delivery required)
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Ability to stand/walk for 6-8 hours per shift
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
