Responsibilities
- Sort, load, and deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to USPS regulations
- Collect postage and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform basic mail processing duties at the distribution center
- Operate handheld scanners for package tracking and delivery confirmation
- Maintain clean and organized delivery vehicles and equipment
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and delivery time standards
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Availability to work Monday-Saturday with rotating Sundays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to walk 5-8 miles daily in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
