Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages safely and efficiently to residential/business addresses
- Operate provided USPS vehicles (cars, LLVs) following all safety protocols
- Sort and organize mail according to established routes and procedures
- Collect outgoing mail and process postage payments
- Complete daily delivery reports and maintain accurate records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks using provided tools
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic math and sorting skills
- Reliable transportation to/from work facility
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
