Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based health policies aligned with CDC/FEMA directives
- Analyze local health data to identify intervention hotspots
- Coordinate with federal/state health agencies for grant compliance
- Design community outreach programs for vulnerable populations
- Prepare compliance reports for HUD and Louisiana DHH
- Lead crisis response initiatives during public health emergencies
- Mentor junior staff on regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's in Public Health or Public Policy (MPH/MPP required)
- 3+ years in government health policy analysis
- Experience with federal grant reporting (SAM.gov)
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS/R for health data modeling
- Knowledge of Louisiana Revised Statutes Title 40
- FEMA Incident Command System (ICS-300) certification
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
- Spanish proficiency strongly preferred
