Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and inform policy decisions
- Coordinate cross-agency responses to public health emergencies
- Develop educational materials and conduct outreach campaigns on health equity
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead community stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Prepare reports for city officials and funding partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government/public health administration
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Experience with grant writing and compliance
- Bilingual in English/Spanish or Mandarin strongly preferred
- Valid California driver's license
