Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and public safety incidents across Milwaukee
- Enforce local ordinances and state laws with professionalism and integrity
- Conduct community outreach and educational programs
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies
- Participate in continuous training and skill development
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid Wisconsin driver's license
- Minimum 21 years of age at time of appointment
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Pass background check, physical fitness test, and psychological evaluation
- Basic EMT or firefighting certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
