Responsibilities
- Conduct field inspections of construction projects to verify compliance with city codes and blueprints
- Document findings and prepare detailed inspection reports with photographic evidence
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and city officials to resolve compliance issues
- Review development plans and permit applications for technical accuracy
- Enforce municipal regulations and safety standards on job sites
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and project documentation
- Provide technical guidance to construction teams and stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of construction inspection or related field experience
- Valid Colorado Inspector certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and construction terminology
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder interactions
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions and traverse construction sites
- Associates degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
