Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality customer service to state employees and the general public via phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
- Assist in the preparation, processing, and filing of government documents, contracts, and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with state statutes and regulations.
- Perform data entry and database management tasks with a high degree of precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with department staff to streamline administrative processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by department leadership.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in an office administration, customer service, or government setting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a mandatory background check and drug screening.
- Valid Florida driver's license is preferred for travel within the region.
