Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional in-person, phone, and digital customer support for driver's licenses, vehicle registrations, and state IDs
- Process transactions efficiently using specialized DMV software systems
- Resolve customer inquiries with empathy and accuracy while maintaining compliance with state regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex customer needs
- Maintain meticulous records of all customer interactions and transactions
- Support DMV initiatives to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Adhere to strict security protocols for handling sensitive personal information
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years customer service or administrative experience
- Proficiency with computer systems and data entry applications
- Strong communication skills in English and basic knowledge of Hawaiian Pidgin
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Valid Hawaii driver's license required
- Experience with government systems or public service highly desirable
- Background check and fingerprinting clearance mandatory
