Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large volumes of federal datasets from various sources to ensure high-quality analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical modeling and trend analysis to identify key insights for government stakeholders.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all data handling processes adhere to federal regulations (FISMA, NIST) and strict security protocols.
- Visualization: Create compelling dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or R Shiny for executive briefings.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and optimize data pipelines.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analytical findings.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal sector or a government contracting environment.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS is mandatory.
- Visualization: Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik).
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret government security clearance.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
