Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal network infrastructure, including servers, routers, and firewalls.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols to ensure compliance with DoD standards and NIST frameworks.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and Level 3 support for internal stakeholders.
- Document system configurations and prepare technical reports for federal auditors and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with state and local government agencies on joint IT initiatives and data sharing.
- Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and performance tuning.
- Ensure all IT systems adhere to strict federal compliance regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent years of experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance is highly preferred; ability to obtain clearance is a must.
- Experience working with federal or government contracts (FAR/DFARS familiarity is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and stakeholder presentations.
