Responsibilities
- Manage Federal IT Infrastructure: Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of server systems and networks supporting federal agencies.
- Security Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to federal security standards, including FISMA and NIST guidelines, to protect sensitive data.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to minimize downtime for government operations.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and incident reports.
- System Upgrades: Lead the planning and execution of software and hardware upgrades to improve system performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and federal stakeholders to define technical requirements.
Qualifications
- Certification: Active Top Secret clearance (or ability to obtain) is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or systems administration.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), scripting (Python/Bash), and virtualization technologies.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with senior government officials.
