Responsibilities
- Operate park equipment (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems) to maintain safe, beautiful landscapes
- Organize and supervise recreational programs including sports leagues, youth camps, and community events
- Inspect facilities daily to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards
- Assist with event setup/breakdown for festivals, tournaments, and cultural celebrations
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly
- Collaborate with team members on seasonal projects and facility upgrades
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in recreation management preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Experience in grounds maintenance, event coordination, or customer service
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends for events and program coverage
