Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute mail/packages efficiently according to delivery routes
- Operate mail processing machinery and maintain accurate records
- Load/unload postal vehicles safely and perform routine maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service at retail counters and delivery points
- Adhere to all USPS safety protocols and delivery standards
- Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic laws
- Assist in inventory management of postal supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
