About the Role:
You will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining security measures for the federal network. You will work closely with government clients to ensure compliance with strict regulations and protocols, ensuring mission success and data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for suspicious activities and potential security breaches.
- Implement and maintain firewall rules, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Respond to and mitigate security incidents in compliance with federal standards (FISMA).
- Manage user access controls, identities, and privileges (IAM).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall security posture and compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Security or a related federal contracting field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Top Secret or Secret security clearance is required.
- Certification such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal regulations, NIST, and DIACAP compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills.
