Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for federal IT initiatives, from conception through final delivery and closure.
- Manage cross-functional teams and external contractors to ensure alignment with agency goals and timelines.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal compliance standards, OMB guidelines, and agency security protocols.
- Communicate complex technical status updates to senior leadership and stakeholders with high visibility.
- Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and procurement processes to maximize fiscal efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate project risks using Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Maintain detailed documentation of project artifacts, ensuring audit readiness at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management within the Federal or State Government sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Active Top Secret or Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one immediately).
- Professional Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent Agile certification (CSM/PSM).
- Deep understanding of ITIL v4 frameworks and federal acquisition regulations (FAR).
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without authority.
- Proficiency in JIRA, MS Project, and other enterprise project management tools.
