Position Overview:
As a State Government Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of state services. You will work closely with various departments to streamline processes and serve the community efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process high-volume state applications and documentation with precision and confidentiality.
- Coordinate inter-departmental communications to ensure alignment with state regulations and policies.
- Conduct regular audits of government records to ensure compliance with federal and state standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new government initiatives and public outreach programs.
- Provide exceptional customer service to constituents, resolving inquiries regarding state services and benefits.
- Prepare detailed reports for state oversight committees and executive leadership.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Virginia and Pennsylvania state government procedures and compliance laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a government, public sector, or administrative role.
- Strong understanding of state government workflows and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and database management systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of integrity and discretion.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
