Responsibilities
- Conduct Policy Research: Analyze complex legislative data and economic trends to support state decision-making processes.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with federal agencies, local municipalities, and private sector partners to ensure policy alignment.
- Report Generation: Draft comprehensive reports and briefings for executive leadership and the state legislature.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all state programs adhere to federal and state regulatory standards.
- Data Analysis: Utilize statistical tools to interpret demographic and economic data for strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in government relations, policy analysis, or public administration.
- Certifications: PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data visualization software (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
