Responsibilities
- Manage Public Records: Accurately process and maintain confidential government documents and records in compliance with state regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional assistance to citizens, resolving inquiries regarding state services and programs efficiently.
- Administrative Support: Assist department heads with scheduling, correspondence, and preparing reports for state audits.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all departmental operations adhere to federal and state safety and compliance standards.
- Data Entry: Perform high-volume data entry tasks with a focus on accuracy and timely submission of digital records.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve workflow and service delivery within the agency.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office environment or public service role.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and government database management software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with the public.
