Your Mission:
As a TSA Security Screener, you will be the first line of defense in aviation security. You will be responsible for screening passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo to detect threats to transportation security. If you are detail-oriented and committed to public service, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo using advanced imaging technology and X-ray machines.
- Identify prohibited items and take appropriate action to resolve security threats.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with travelers to explain security procedures.
- Adhere to all TSA regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain efficient checkpoint operations.
- Complete mandatory training and maintain certification in security screening protocols.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
