Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequences and regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to all traffic laws
- Collect mail from mailboxes and post offices
- Obtain and maintain signatures for registered/insured mail
- Report delivery issues and customer concerns to supervisors
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Perform light maintenance on assigned delivery vehicle
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to walk 5-8 hours daily in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for digital tracking systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
