Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently to meet delivery deadlines
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain route schedules
- Collect outgoing mail and process customer transactions
- Report delivery issues and maintain accurate records
- Operate postal equipment including scanners and sorting machines
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve delivery inquiries
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods (5+ hours daily)
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
