Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to postal regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery inquiries
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and report safety hazards
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines and performance standards
- Assist with mail processing duties at the local post office when needed
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and walk 5-8 hours daily
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for digital reporting
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
