Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along assigned routes on foot and/or vehicle
- Sort, distribute, and organize mail efficiently according to postal regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and businesses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report mail irregularities
- Safely operate postal vehicles when assigned to route delivery
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for all delivery operations
- Assist with mail processing duties at the local post office as needed
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to walk 5-8 hours daily in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
