Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages along designated city routes using USPS vehicles
- Sort and organize mail in sequence for efficient delivery
- Collect outgoing mail from customer collection boxes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely in all weather conditions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communications
- Follow USPS safety protocols and operational procedures
- Assist with mail processing duties as assigned
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and carry 35 lb mail sacks
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in all weather
- No prior experience required – training provided
- Basic computer literacy for record-keeping systems
