Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to USPS standards
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain route documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report delivery issues, damaged property, or safety hazards promptly
- Adhere to strict security protocols for handling sensitive materials
- Maintain accurate delivery records and mileage logs
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with valid work authorization
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and carry mail trays weighing 35 lbs
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for digital reporting systems
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
