Responsibilities
- Sort, load, and deliver mail/packages along designated routes
- Operate postal vehicles safely following traffic laws
- Collect mail from collection boxes and customer residences
- Process and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service at all delivery points
- Operate scanning devices for tracking deliveries
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational readiness
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Reliable transportation to reporting location
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
