Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail, packages, and parcels to designated addresses
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to delivery routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain proper records
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and delivery standards
- Report mail irregularities and delivery issues promptly
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and vehicle inspections
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for package tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and route navigation skills
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
