Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail and packages to designated routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Collect outgoing mail from customers and businesses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer service logs
- Operate automated delivery equipment and scanning devices
- Adhere to strict delivery time standards and route efficiency metrics
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions
- Report maintenance issues with vehicles and equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld devices
