Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along an assigned route
- Sort and sequence mail efficiently for timely delivery
- Operate USPS-provided vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Collect outgoing mail and parcels from customers along the route
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and report any issues promptly
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and delivery standards
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with valid work authorization
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid Indiana driver's license with acceptable driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for USPS scanning systems
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
