Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along designated routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently using automated and manual systems
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service to postal patrons and resolve inquiries
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and delivery time standards
- Operate handheld scanning devices for package tracking and proof of delivery
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident alien status
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for digital tracking systems
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and holidays as required
