Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels on foot or via vehicle along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequence and postal regulations
- Collect outgoing mail and process customer transactions at mailboxes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide excellent customer service during mail interactions
- Perform duties in all weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols
- Complete required scanning and documentation for each delivery
Qualifications
- Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Basic computer literacy for handheld scanning devices
- Strong work ethic and reliability in all weather conditions
- Ability to work independently while following postal procedures
