Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to USPS regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report service disruptions
- Process customer transactions at the point of delivery (e.g., certified mail, return receipts)
- Operate scanning devices to confirm deliveries and maintain route efficiency
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Adhere to strict delivery time windows and service standards
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Basic computer literacy for scanning devices and record-keeping
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to walk up to 6 miles daily on established routes
