Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail/packages along assigned routes using provided USPS vehicles
- Sort, sequence, and prepare mail for efficient daily delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication
- Safely operate USPS vehicles and adhere to traffic regulations
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines in all weather conditions
- Provide exceptional customer service at customer residences and businesses
- Report maintenance issues with vehicles and equipment promptly
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 70 lbs) repeatedly
- Ability to walk extended distances (6-8 hours daily) in various weather
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
