Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail/packages on an assigned urban route using USPS vehicles
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequence and regulations
- Provide customer service assistance at mailboxes and customer residences
- Operate and maintain delivery vehicles safely in all weather conditions
- Complete delivery documentation and report unusual conditions
- Follow USPS security protocols and safety procedures
- Assist with mail processing duties as needed
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work outdoors in Miami's climate (heat, humidity, rain)
- Basic computer literacy for package tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to reporting location
