Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to delivery sequences and regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Collect outgoing mail from mailboxes and post office collection boxes
- Provide exceptional customer service while representing the USPS brand
- Follow all USPS safety protocols and operational procedures
- Report any delivery issues or irregularities to supervisors promptly
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 70 lbs)
- Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
