Responsibilities
- Sort and deliver mail and packages along a designated route efficiently and accurately.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering inquiries and resolving delivery issues.
- Load and unload mail from vehicles, ensuring safe transport to and from the post office.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and work area.
- Adhere to all postal safety regulations and procedures at all times.
- Update tracking information and resolve address discrepancies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support postal operations.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Valid state driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Physically fit and able to walk/hike for long distances in various weather conditions.
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
