Responsibilities
- Deliver Mail: Transport and deliver mail to residential and business customers on an established route, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Sort & Process: Sort incoming mail accurately and efficiently before delivery to the correct address.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly, professional, and helpful service to every customer you encounter.
- Collect Mail: Pick up outgoing mail from collection boxes and process postage due payments.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and operational condition of the delivery vehicle.
- Route Management: Adapt to schedule changes and ensure all mail is delivered regardless of weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Residency: Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required (commercial license preferred but not always mandatory depending on specific route assignment).
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds and walk distances in various weather conditions.
- Clean Record: Must pass a drug test and background check.
