Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to customers along an assigned route in a timely and accurate manner.
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail and packages efficiently at the station.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to answer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting packages weighing up to 70 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Operate a USPS vehicle (if required) and adhere to strict safety and traffic regulations.
- Follow all USPS policies, procedures, and performance standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and vehicle.
Qualifications
- United States citizenship or permanent resident status.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and stand for long durations.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
- Pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record check.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
