Responsibilities
- Deliver Mail: Sort and deliver mail and packages to residential and business customers along an established route.
- Maintain Equipment: Ensure your vehicle is clean, fueled, and in safe working condition before and after your route.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers to resolve inquiries and maintain a positive reputation for the USPS.
- Physical Stamina: Lift packages and mail up to 70 lbs and walk or drive for extended periods in all weather conditions.
- Accuracy: Sort mail accurately and update delivery records to ensure timely distribution.
- Route Management: Follow the prescribed route efficiently to maximize productivity.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a United States citizen or national.
- License: Valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
- Age: At least 18 years of age.
- Background: Must pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Health: Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job, including lifting and standing.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred.
